Houston....ah, something has landed?

The second (and to my understanding, the last) WarGaming title on PC to launch their April Fools event is World of Tanks. Although news about this has been known for a little while, I still wanted to give it a shot and see what it was going to be like.

The basic premise is this; a 7 vs 7 battle on the Moon, in tank balls.

One way to win is chase down a designated player and blast them to bits, or land one of those lucky critical hits to take them out faster.

An alternative way to victory is push the enemy team into these lava pits, located around the map that is shaped like a pool/billiards table.

I took three battles to finally secure a winning team. The controls were easy enough to figure out, but the low gravity effects took a bit to get used to. Maneuvering on the move was a challenge, since it was either the terrain that had to be navigated, or an enemy tank ball colliding into me.

Anyways, here was my very first battle in this mode, in the raw and not ending on a good note  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vtiIbPGbFs

Armored Warfare has decided to opt out from April Fools and take a more....conservative approach. This weekend, the is a Facebook bonus special and an opportunity to earn the decals pictured above, read more here https://aw.my.com/en/forum/showthread.php?69308-Introducing-the-Bonus-Weekend
