Asian armament

With the first line of Chinese vehicles for Armored Warfare right around the corner, I thought I would take a look at what is being offered and speculate what could be coming in the future. For what is to come, have a look here https://aw.my.com/us/news/general/introducing-chinese-vehicles

While the above two links cover what is going on with Chinese MBT's, so what about the other classes of armored fighting vehicles?

I have no way of knowing which direction Obsidian will go with Zhang and his offerings, but if it were to include something from Taiwan, I would go with the following, for a tank destroyer.

CM-32 Yunpao (Clouded Leopard 雲豹裝甲車)

Built by Ordnance Readiness Development Center and manned with a crew of two (Driver and Commander/Gunner), armed with a 105 mm rifled main gun and reaching speeds up to 120 kph(flat, open ground), the Yunpao could be a formidable surprise, in the right hands.

If mainland China is the way to go, how about this?

ZTL-09

With a crew of four (commander, gunner, loader and driver) and also armed with a 105 mm main gun, this variant of the ZBL-09 Snow Leopard (hmmm, coincidence?) is a little slower at 100 kph then the Yunpao, but that doesn't make this Norinco built vehicle any less deadly.

It's very possible that other Asian countries could be added to Zhang's future line up, like Japan....

Maneuver Combat Vehicle (機動戦闘車 kidou-sentou-sha)

The yet to be built for the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the MCV is planned to be armed with a 105 mm main gun and crew with either three or four members. Top speed is reported to be around 100 kph.

Last, but not least, a look at an offering from South Korea....

Rotem Jupiter

With a crew of three, this Rotem built vehicle, which is a part of Hyundai Motors Group, has a top speed of 100 kph. Also, armed with a 120 mm main gun, it could be an equal in firepower with the current ingame Centauro B1.
