Progression du prototype Leclerc

Ever since the first day the rest of the French vehicles came to Armored Warfare, there were those who either couldn't or wouldn't wait to be at the top of the line (namely the tier X Leclerc T4 MBT). Although I have the means to do so on that very same day, I easily avoided the temptation to use my Free Reputation at play a vehicle I haven't earned.

That last statement might sound a bit hypocritical, considering I have used that same banked Free Reputation to speed through a difficult vehicle or even used real world money to buy into a campaign to collect a premium vehicle or two. But, to possibly exhaust all of those assets just for the "prestige" of being at the top tier of a new line? There is an old saying "It's not so much about reaching the destination, but rather enjoying the journey to it."

Here is just one of those recent "journey battles."

Whiles others out there have had much better battle results, I was rather pleased with this particular outcome....

....which also nabbed me some nice achievement rewards.

Shortly after that excursion, I dove into a Hardcore battle, once again, other players have produced much higher numbers....

....but for me, I couldn't have been happier (okay, maybe coming in at the top of the list would have done that).

Canis Kaboomis

First things first.

Armored Warfare is having another "Special Day" event, this time around it's International Dog Day?

Yeah....I have never heard of that either. Nevertheless, if you are interested in another decal to add to your collection, along with three Gold crates, check out this link.

The second part of what is going on is the unexpected sale of the tier IX Centauro 120 Wolf Edition premium tank destroyer.

For those that have been around the AW Universe as long (or longer) than I have, might just remember the claim it would NEVER be sold, period. Well, if you missed out the first time or are late to the game and never knew about this vehicle and the circumstances behind it (including the controversy), here's you chance to pick one up. Click here for more details.

I had this grandiose idea of taking my own Centauro Wolf out for a spin in the Moscow Calling Campaign, Extreme! However, the wait time wasn't paying out the dividends like I thought it would (this screen was from my third attempt at getting into the battle), so I settled for a Hardcore match on a map I have played more than a few times now.

I wasn't prepared for how things were going to go down....for me.

So, I Got The Zubr....

Despite the fact I had more than enough time to earn the tier VII ZUBR PSP premium Czech tank destroyer in Armored Warfare, I decided to showcase paying out the mission requirements (with Gold) through to the final battle results screen from the first sortie....

No Hurry, No Pressure, No Rush, Part 3

Just a little over 40 days remaining in the Age of Rage campaign in Armored Warfare.

BattleCoin progress is still slow, thanks in part to my recent slow down in playing, due to being very tired at the end of my working days.

If I exercised one option real soon (say, in the next couple of days), I could park the tier VII ZUBR PSP in my garage (at a small Gold expense). I haven't quite made up my mind if I am going to go that route or not.

Okay, it's about orangutans!

Armored Warfare is celebrating World Orangutan Day with a couple of decals and a day of Premium. Check out those details (and info on the limited time bonuses) here.

For No Particular Reason, Part 5

Lacking any better Armored Warfare content to create, here's another round of opening Crates!

Thunderbolt Goes Boom In The City

It's been a while since I parked a new vehicle in my Armored Warfare garage and thanks to the shuffle between the tier VIII Ariete and Al-Hussein, coupled with spending nearly all of my banked up Credits, I get to try out a new upper tiered machine....

For a limited time, you can also collect a few decals and BattleCoins booster, check this link out for more information.

Numbers And Things

With just over 50 days left to go in the Age of Rage campaign in Armored Warfare, I have collected a lot of BattleCoins from my causal game time.

I had the opportunity to talk with a few folks through the ingame chat and have been informed that it will take around 150,000 BattleCoins if I want to park a tier X Object 490 (and a few other vehicles) in my garage.

If I were to stick to my original plan of paying a few Real World Dollars, to top up my banked Gold balance and buy into the campaign, I would come just under halfway to what some are calling "the most Over Powered (OP) vehicle in the game." Despite that fact I have a ton of days left to collect more BattleCoins (and Gold, from logins and chests), I have some concerns....and an alternate course of action under consideration.

On the Zubar side of things, my progress has come along quite nicely, if I do say so myself.

There were some challenges that felt impossible to accomplish (like ramming 10 enemy vehicles to death), but through a few decent teams and a lot of luck, I have pulled off my current result. However, the bottom two requirements would take a miracle to complete and I have already considered using Gold to buy the "quick completion."

As much as I like to see Canadian content in a game, I think I am going to pass on this.

Unlike War Thunder and World of Tanks, Armored Warfare doesn't have a Canadian vehicle currently ingame (even after nearly 4 years of the title going Live). As much as I appreciate the gesture of these camouflage patterns, I will wait for something more....solid (preferably something of the premium variety).

If you are interested in grabbing any of this Canadian inspired "Eye Candy" check out this link.

Stand Out

Although it has been some time since the rest of the French vehicles were brought to Armored Warfare, it is not quite a uncommon sight to see so many Leclerc Prototypes populating the mid tier battles.

However, in the picture above, one is not like the others and decides to horn in on the action.
