This past while, I was finishing up the progress on two vehicles in Armored Warfare. First to be completed was the tier VII Leclerc Prototype, a machine that was a pleasant surprise to use (since the developers at Armored Warfare could have taken a much different direction with almost all of Francine De Laroche's offerings). Excellent main gun, respectable reload time, very good maneuverability and effective armor. I will miss this one.
Another recent retiree is the tier V Rooikat 76. This South African Armored Fighting Vehicle was a blast to use (even with my affinity towards wheeled vehicles), but it had some rather odd limitations. The low damage-per-shot was slightly offset by the rapid reload, it was slow to take off and was a bit on the squirrelly side in the steering department when going fast and the armor was nearly nonexistent (to be expected though). Too bad it was also a dead end in the Oscar Faraday tree, leading to no other vehicle.
Now, I have the tier VIII VCAC Mephisto and time to see if any of the bad vibes I have picked up from watching others use this in battles are true and get passed on to me....
