Tis The Season, Part 2

In Armored Warfare, I experimented with some "Chinese Speed" in an attempt to wrap up....yeah, I said that....the five missions requirements for the Capture the Gifts event.

Through a promo code a long time ago now, I picked up the then tier III ZBD-86 Neon Armored Fighting Vehicle. Due to being a low tiered and no real forward gun depression asset, I didn't play with it a whole lot.

I did remember it was rather quick of the line and when it it really boogies down the road, it's the fastest thing I have driven in the game. I did rather well with the tier VIII Type 96 Red Dragon for my first outing, so I decided to take a trip into the lower tiers and rip around with the ZBD. It paid off.

Just to catch things up, here was Day 22 through 24 of the Holiday Gift Boxes, just in case you were wondering.

On the "Storm Front," I have banked up enough BattleCoins to roll over to the next task....

....and the rewards from the last with help with the next.

For some odd reason, I cashed in 114 Crates I had stored up. I was curious to see what I could collect, outside the usual Gold, Insignias and Credits (not that these are bad things, but a rare premium vehicle is always a welcome thing for me). Sadly, Fate decided to play cruel jokes on me.

I am not a big fan of vehicle rentals as prizes. I feel teased that I can give it a try and in the case of two of the vehicles you see here, can never buy.

As much as somebody (or a few folks) out the reading this would have liked for me to have made videos about them, I just can't torture myself (in the very strong case of the tier IX VT5 Chinese premium Light Tank) into doing it. However, I will share screenshots of their statistics.

Today is also the last day for gifts from my.com and Armored Warfare.

I was rather surprised to see the generosity found in the special Christmas Gift Box and gladly accept them for future use and enjoyment. Of course, Day 25 Holiday Gift Box had one thing I was hoping would end this event off with, a new-to-me premium vehicle....
