De-Light?
There are quite a few vehicles in Armored Warfare that I have and hardly play.
Take the tier II T-92 ACAV premium Light Tank. I picked up this zippy little machine well over a year ago through a promo code and it hasn't seen too many battles through my hands.
To be perfectly honest, playing in the lower tiers doesn't really appeal to me. Besides, the rewards for the time invested do come up a little short, as compared to battling it out in the mid to upper tiers.
Nevertheless, there are some folks out there who might be considering adding this machine to their collection, so what not showcase it....

A Forgotten Feature
Camo Netting was an visual/aesthetic option brought up by both the playerbase and developers. The talk of this went on, then off, then back on, only to be lost from the public consciousness over time (and a few other more pressing events in the AW Universe). It wasn't until I saw my first pictures of the Abrams Storm that I suddenly remembered this neglected topic.
For course, this variant of the Abrams wasn't the first vehicle to sport this unique image package, that honor goes to the tier V Chieftain Mk. 6 Leader premium MBT (in fact, look at the vehicle on the right side during the battle loading screen)....

For No Particular Reason
In Russia and a few other neighboring countries, the celebration known as Defender of the Fatherland Day has started. To collect some interesting themed decals and other items for a limited time, check out this article and the myLoot link.
Now that I have said all that, on to the clicking action of opening boxes....

Just Checking In
I have recently taken a bit of an unplanned break from playing Armored Warfare.
It's not that I have lost interest in playing, just more things are going on with me in the real world and I currently don't have much time to spare of my "treaded habit." However, I am looking forward to the next update, chock full of French goodness. Read more about some of these up and coming vehicles here, there and nearly everywhere.

上次收购
However, I nearly spend myself into credit debt to do so, since during this Chinese/Lunar New Year event, no discounts are being offered for progression assets. I will be perfectly honest here, I was tempted to pick up the premium tier VII PTZ-89 SAW with my banked up Gold, but I think waiting for something more....compatible to my playstyle (and forgiving during those absent minded movements) might be the wiser thing to do.
Back to the tier VI Type 96, I bought the vehicle, partially trained the crew and managed to put in a few consumables and retrofits. Even as I clicked on the Battle Button, I had this uneasy feeling that I might have short changed myself by fighting on the cheap....

Shot Through The Heart
For some in the world today, it's Valentine's Day, for others, just another Thursday.
Firstly, Armored Warfare is having a Valentine's Day giveaway over on the MyLoot page, just click on Chests to collect yours (be sure to be logged in).
If you are interested in some Valentine's Day camouflage for your vehicles, check out the Shop page of MyLoot for the real world Cash option, or go to the WebShop for the Gold alternative. For all the other details for the rest of what this Valentine's Day brings, check it out here.
Arabian Nights, episode 3 and 4 is expected to be coming soon (labeled as Season 2), so here is a heads up on that and the new dealer, including the new vehicles that are coming and old ones being moved around.
Before all of these changes take place, I wanted to take a stroll down memory lane and picked the C1 Ariete, tier VIII Italian MBT (one of the selected assets that will be transferred to the new dealer) to showcase....

The Storm Has Arrived
Although I acquired enough BattleCoins to buy it out just a short while back, today I decided to spend them, after concluding my recent Chinese/Lunar New Year series (the ingame events are still ongoing).
Without further ado, here is the load out, crew compliment and first battle video, with commentary that you have come to expect from me with a new vehicle....

龙在月光下唱歌96B主战坦克
For my last battle with a Chinese vehicle I already own in Armored Warfare, I take to the night in the tier VIII Type-96B Red Dragon.

新年快乐!
Welcome to the Chinese/Lunar New Year and the start of the Spring Festival.
On the Armored Warfare side of things, a vehicle I have been waiting for has finally arrived, namely the Chinese AFT-10, a tier X premium Tank Destroyer and I am not going to get one. My reason for this decision is described in just two words: Loot Boxes.
The last vehicle being offered is the tier IV Type 59-IIA Legend, available as a Gift through MyLoot.
Since I already own it, will receive it's value as Gold compensation instead (along with the other goodies).
Speaking of the Type 59-IIA Legend, why not begin this Chinese series with that....

Zwrot Wataha
It feels like I just took out and showcased the tier VIII Rosomak M1M Wataha in Armored Warfare, but I want to concluded this impromptu "Wheeled Warrior" series, since I have a special project planned in the immediate future.

Cent Of Battle
When the tier VII B1 Centauro 105 replaced the Centauro 120 (which moved to tier IX) in Armored Warfare, I played out a few battles and moved on. Keeping with my "Wheeled Warrior" theme, I thought I would revisit this machine and see if lessons I had learned from it's bigger 120 brother would apply....
In case you were wondering about my progress with another tier IX asset, namely the Challenger 2 Hades, I have been just battling out until the next mission and attempting to bank up the credits.

LAVing It Up, Again
Last in Armored Warfare, I made a video with my new tier V Rooikat 76.
Now, I had planned on making a properly organized "Wheeled Warriors" type of series, showcasing non-tracked fighting vehicles that I owned, but with my real world time constraints, that hasn't gone off according to my best laid plans. Instead, I have opted to do it like I always do, on a whim and off the cuff (drawing inspiration from the Rooikat experience).
Take this LAV-150 90 MERC video for example....
